Mr Walter and his wife,
Always were happy together,
A beautiful combination,
Muttering to each other
About even the smallest of issues
Like “Pass the TV remote!”
Or “Want a cup of tea?”
They were like jigsaw pieces,
You never saw one without the other.
Until one dark, saddening day.
When one was left alone,
As the other delved into the afterlife,
Even so, their love never broke,
An unconditional tie,
The memories never faded to Mr Walter.
